The Knickerbocker is located on the banks of the Thredbo river, just a short stroll from the Village Square and Valley Terminal. The restaurant overlooks both Crackenback Ridge and ski runs including the Supertrail and Funnel Web.

This year sees a change in direction for the Knickerbocker. Well-known in the mountains for his sumptuous French cuisine, Jean-Michel Gerst will be taking over the reins at the Knickerbocker with a new French-inspired menu.

With its stylish European alpine décor and scenic views, The Knickerbocker is the perfect venue for Alsace-born Jean-Michel to showcase his heartwarming recipes, and he plans to keep the restaurant open all year round.
